Its core functions are to provide damping, enhance adhesion, control speed, and form a smooth "buffer layer" between moving parts, thereby achieving noise reduction, vibration damping, and a smooth operating feel.
The stable damping force generated by damping grease is inseparable from its internal viscosity-increasing additive system. However, such additives are extremely sensitive to temperature, so different temperature environments have a significant impact on the performance of damping grease.
First, the impact of low temperatures. At relatively low temperatures, damping grease hardens and its consistency increases. When used in structures requiring smooth startup such as motors, knobs, and gears, this may lead to a rise in starting current, sluggish operation, heavier hand feel, or even jamming.
Second, the high-temperature condition. As the temperature rises, damping grease gradually softens, its viscosity decreases, and the material's adhesion capacity weakens. When applied to mechanisms like gears, rollers, and sliding rails, problems such as insufficient adhesion, oil slinging, and oil seepage may occur. If the damping grease cannot stably stay in the position where damping is needed, the damping feel will change significantly.
Based on industry needs, Baoxing has launched the BX-802 and BX-804 series of damping grease, which possess excellent damping properties, insulation, and adhesion characteristics, enabling effective noise reduction, vibration damping, buffering, and hand feel control.
