It is almost unaffected by strong acids, strong alkalis, and various organic solvents. Its chemical inertness makes it highly favored in chemical equipment and pharmaceutical devices.
Thirdly, it is suitable for vacuum environments.
In industries such as semiconductors and aerospace, equipment often needs to operate under high vacuum conditions. Ordinary greases will volatilize and pollute the environment, but PFPE grease has almost no volatilization loss, making it extremely reliable.

- In the chemical and pharmaceutical industries

some food-grade PFPE greases have obtained the NSF H1 certification and can be safely used in high-temperature ovens.
