Why are ice machines more prone to "malfunctions" in summer?
High ambient temperature: The environment in workshops and kitchens can easily exceed 35℃. Many general-purpose lubricating greases will soften and flow at high temperatures, causing **serious loss of lubricating grease in the gearbox.
High humidity and high load operation: The ice-making process frequently starts the compressor and stirring motor, resulting in severe load fluctuations. The oil film is easily damaged, accelerating metal friction and wear.
Noise control has become an implicit standard: In scenarios such as open kitchens and milk tea bars, machine noise affects customer experience, and once it exceeds the standard, there will be frequent complaints.
Food safety risks: Many ice-making equipment are close to the beverage production area. Once grease leaks, it may accidentally touch the ice slot or outer shell, causing food safety hazards.
Such small-power gearboxes are not suitable for high-viscosity traditional lubricating greases.
