As summer arrives, ice-making equipment enters its peak season. Whether it's chain milk tea shops, cold drink processing factories, restaurant kitchens, or fresh cold chain transit centers, ice machines have long become "standard" equipment. However, with a large number of equipment in use, more problems have followed. The gearbox of ice machines is a high-complaint area in summer. Issues such as increased noise from the gearbox, machine shaking, risks of lubricating oil leakage and contamination of the outer shell; motor overload, overheating, leading to reduced efficiency; and severe wear on gear meshing surfaces within less than half a year of operation — 90% of these problems point to the same root cause: inadequate lubrication. Why are ice machines more prone to "malfunctions" in summer? High ambient temperature: The environment in workshops and kitchens can easily exceed 35℃. Many general-purpose lubricating greases will soften and flow at high temperatures, causing **serious loss of lubricating grease in the gearbox. High humidity and high load operation: The ice-making process frequently starts the compressor and stirring motor, resulting in severe load fluctuations. The oil film is easily damaged, accelerating metal friction and wear. Noise control has become an implicit standard: In scenarios such as open kitchens and milk tea bars, machine noise affects customer experience, and once it exceeds the standard, there will be frequent complaints. Food safety risks: Many ice-making equipment are close to the beverage production area. Once grease leaks, it may accidentally touch the ice slot or outer shell, causing food safety hazards. Such small-power gearboxes are not suitable for high-viscosity traditional lubricating greases. They need to choose food-grade lubricating greases that do not drip at high temperatures and do not get stuck at low temperatures; have strong adhesion, resistance to throwing off and emulsification, and can cope with long-term operation; at the same time, they must be products that pass NSF H1 certification to avoid potential cross-contamination risks. Baoxing BX-434 series food-grade noise-reducing lubricating grease is a noise-reducing food-grade lubricating grease specially developed for such high-speed, light-load equipment. It can be used in ice machines, coffee machines, beverage mixers and other scenarios, with good feedback in actual use. Welcome to call for samples for testing.
